Precautions when using centrifuge tubes
Date: 2021-10-27
When using centrifuge tubes, do not use one tube for multiple times. Pay attention to the volatilization of samples and the leakage of some radioactive or corrosive samples; during the storage process, it is necessary to seal them well; to prevent the centrifuge tubes from being used during use Deformation occurs.
1. Ordinary test tubes can be directly heated. Wipe the outer wall of the test tube dry before heating.
2. When filling the solution, it should not exceed 1/2 of the capacity of the test tube. When heating, it should not exceed 1/3 of the test tube.
3. When heating, a test tube clamp must be used. The test tube clamp is inserted from the bottom of the test tube to the test tube mouth. When taking it, it is also taken out from the lower part of the test tube and clamped in the upper part of the test tube mouth (close to 1/3 of the test tube mouth).
4. When heating, first heat the test tube evenly, then focus on heating at the bottom of the test tube, and keep moving the test tube. The test tube should be tilted at about 45¡ã, and the mouth of the tube should not be facing yourself or others.
5. When pouring liquid into a test tube, you can only take one test tube, but when comparing several test tubes, you can hold several in your hand at the same time (with your thumb and palm).
6. When oscillating the test tube, hold the test tube with three fingers in the thumb, and use the wrist to oscillate vigorously instead of swinging the arm. The liquid in the test tube is subjected to centrifugal force and will not splash out.
7. The heated test tubes cannot be put into the test tube rack immediately to prevent the test tube rack from being scalded.
8. To clean the plastic centrifuge tube, you can directly shake it with clean water, or you can use a test tube brush. If necessary, use washing powder to brush. According to the drugs used in the experiment, acid, alkali and acid potassium dichromate lotion can also be used for cleaning. There should be no water droplets hanging on the inner wall of the test tube after cleaning.
